Travis Yamanaka and his three brothers have been doing judo since they could crawl as their family runs Midway Judo Club in St. Paul, MN.   Their family all followed similar paths by leading the Illini Judo Club at the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL and then heading into the medical field.  Travis now resides in Chicago with his own family.  He assists with the Fundamentals Class at Tohkon Judo Academy and is a National Referee.
