Grace Talusan is the head instructor of Kokushi Midwest Judo in Urbana, IL.   She has competed in many national and international tournaments throughout her judo career - most recently, winning a bronze medal at the 2016 IJF World Veterans Championships and a gold medal at the 2016 Senior Nationals, both in the F2 70kg division.  She was also tournament director for the 2015 and 2016 Midwest Collegiate Judo Championships.  She is a nidan under the guidance of Douglas Tono and Eiko Shepherd.  She currently resides in Mahomet, IL with her husband and two children.   She is a JudoGearUSA sponsored athlete.
